You learn something new everyday, especially when you go to an educational function run by Google.
On Wednesday, Oct. 12th, Couponology founder, Marina Daskalis, took to Google’s New York headquarters to take part in, the aptly named, “Learning with Google”. The one day event served as a tutorial on the diverse ways to optimize search-ability on Google.
Marina said that her time was spent, “learning new information on…display networks, mobile devices, how to bring people to the site, Google Analytics; a little bit of everything.” She also said they learned about new Google technology that would allow you to figure out the demographics of specific users visiting your site..
Another day well spent at one of these events. It really pays to learn the tricks straight from the source, though. That’s what separates this one from other events; it’s one thing to have someone say “this is how Google will find you,” but it’s another for someone from Google to say, “this is how we will find you.”
