With spring finally here, the event that’s most likely on every high school girl’s mind is PROM! I know it was the only thing I could think of in the spring semester of my junior/senior year of high school, and this year, it’s my little sister who has prom on the brain. I can remember all the stresses that came with prom; making sure you had a date, figuring out transportation, and most importantly, the dress! For my girls that want to rock something with a bit more color, have no fear. I was sold on the burgundy dress above the minute I saw the back of it! I’m all about the little things that take a dress from simple to perfect, and the open back style of this gown does just that. The lace detail on the front of the dress is so elegant as well, and the flare style skirt allows just enough movement so you can dance the night away with ease. I’m a big fan of this particular dress shape because it doesn’t have a lot of extra fabric, so it’s not too heavy and won’t weigh you down throughout the night.
